The 2022 FIFA World Cup is to be held in Qatar, with the country hosting all of its matches at Khalifa International Stadium (also known as Mohammed Bin Hamad Stadium). The stadium is located in Doha, Qatar's capital and largest city.


The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th edition of the quadrennial international football tournament and it will take place between 18 November 2020 and 18 December 2022. The tournament will have 32 teams, which includes 23 national teams and 7 continental teams from nations who would qualify for their first appearance at the finals.
